American Study Program Writing Contest

Deadline: March 30, 2018

Topic:

How will education prepare students as global leaders in 2118? Write your essay about what you think education will look like in the future and how external influences might play a role in preparing students as global leaders.

Eligibility:

This contest is open to all U.S. high school juniors and seniors.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Essays must contain a minimum of 2500 words.
  • Submit your essay with a cover page including your name, address, phone number, email and the name of your school.
  • All essays must be submitted electronically to contest(at)americanstudyprogram.org, or by using the form on the Writing Contest Submission page.
  • Essays must be emailed as an attachment, in Microsoft Word, double-spaced and 12-point font.

Prizes:

Five essays will be selected for a prize.

  • First Place Prize $750
  • Second Place Prize $500
  • Third Place Prize $250
  • Fourth Place Prize $100
  • Fifth Place Prize $50

 

Winners will be notified by April 27th, 2018.  All decisions by the judges are final.
